Tutorials, Animation updates, Gaming Commentary

Posted by Kel-chan - April 11th, 2015

I'mma trying to start/revive my dead youtube. I will be posting some animation tutorials, model design tutorials, background creation, animation updates as well as gaming commentary on my fav games which i tend to suck horribly at.

Here's my youtube!

I'll show you how to make backgrounds and computer models for 2d/3d animations

Dead or alive  style smash!

Tutorial the first! Making a Rapier prop for a character in sketchup!

Here is the final rapier I made and here is Pt 2

Rapiers are the best sword.

The poke of destiny

Oh man! You're playing Life is Tumblr: Braid's Wolf Among Dead! Hahah, I was watching a bunch of that playthrough from TBFP. It didn't seem TOO bad, but best of luck with that.

"Sadface."

Cool, where can you get the software?

The next tutorial should be up in an hour or so when it finishes

Godspeed thou glorious weeb.

Did you make the models yourself on that gif, or did you just animate them?

Some of them I put together with parts, I.E. shirts clothes shoes hairs + textures from model base parts. The background I made from scratch. Weapons also. but for example, characters are made from base models that you tweak into a character using DAZ3d.

I'll do a tutorial on it but basically you have a human biped shape that you use morph sliders to make male or female, change body size parts and facial features, its rather similar to making a character using a character creator. After that you take that naked model and add clothing parts to it along with hair and then animate it.

Its not exactly 100% from scratch, i.e. starting with a block and then carving out a face or something with zbrush because, its quicker and there are already existing programs, the only downside is I couldn't sell a character model unless I paid for the rights for the original genesis base from daz studio which is like $200 or something on Daz3d's site

good luck! i know how hard it is to get a decent followership in youtube nowday, but if you really focus on it ,im sure it wont be any problem ^^

yah I might just stick with NG though i can make some tut's to help ppl out

That's a nice sword, sketchup can be an awesome thing once you work it out. Hope to more sketchup related work from you in the future, as well the rest of your creations.

You are a very exemplary, beautiful young lady. You such amazing talent for what you do, not many people can really pull of the anime-esque atmosphere and look.

You keep doing what you do best and you'll go places. Keep up the good work.
