Great concept, but I'm all about lump sums, and not letting some internet types access my account every month, when I can barely trust them even once! Do you have a Paypal account?

yup
i think patreon is supposed to be the poor man's kickstarter. If you don't have a large single project to fund, then its decent. I think most of the people on NG could benefit from that in some sense
