Chapter 4 has been started, It's kind of the obligatory anime/manga flashback-isode to build context, introduce character relationship and setup plot things for the future. Therefore it's not as action intensive as the previous chapter.

You animated Extraction in Photoshop?! I'm no expert, but that sounds ludicrously difficult... yet the results were damn fine looking (aside from the niggles I pointed out in the review). You're still a big hero to me!

I decided to use photoshop because I was tired of flash constantly crashing- I could never preview my work since it would constantly crash or give memory errors. Also the files would get ludicrously large since I did it frame by frame.
But I finally found after all these years a technique that results in what I visually want it to look like.
I'm going to try another action anime short to test some other aspects of this style
It actually didn't take that long to do it in photoshop- What took long was, once again- I did about 1/2 of it in flash starting in january. After messing with all the issues I decided to restart and redo it in photoshop and it took about 3 weeks to finish up
