I've seen this sorta thing happen on the subway in Toronto at least twice a month.
At the beginning when it said the name Satoshi Kon are ya'll talking about Satoshi the anime director of "Paranoia Agent" and manga artist, because I love some of his work! Too bad he's not around anymore and the only thing to remember him by is his greatest work.

nope they're not 3d they're just painted in like a million layers from a picture reference
